Welcome back to Punk Rock 101! This week I discuss starting out in recording your music. A lot of people have asked me about this topic and are always concerned that they don't have the money or equipment needed. So, today I recorded a song using only my iPhone and the free Garageband app.
I've been recording music now for 16 years and started by using cassette tapes and an old karaoke machine. Since then, I have not only learned a lot more about recording, but also technology has come so far. But, no longer are the days you have to wait to go to a recording studio to get started, you can literally get started making music today.
I also go into what small upgrades you can make in gear to get even better quality recordings using just your phone. Hope this episode is helpful!
